Nyerere national park has a wide range of accommodation facilities which are open to visitors and offer various services and facilities required by tourists on a safari to the park, these accommodations facilities are situated inside and outside the park. Accommodations in Nyerere national park include tented lodges, camps and hotels and they are categorized as budget, midrange and luxury facilities.
Each of these accommodations has its own pricing which changes due to several factors including season, in the peak season (June to October), most accommodation facilities hike their prices due to the high numbers of tourists visiting the park and during the wet season (November to April), some of the accommodations close due to floods and remaining one reduce on their prices.
Budget Camps in Nyerere have been a more recent development, meant to cater for the price conscious traveler. Almost all hotels classified as budget properties are located outside Nyerere National Park boundary. Game drives would still be inside the main reserve and would mean entering and exiting the park for each game drive.
